Clinical Supervision: Intersectionality and Social Determinants of Health - May 22-24, 2024
NEW online 7-hour training that can be used to fulfill the Virginia Board of Social Work’s requirement for Licensed Clinical Social Workers to provide clinical supervision to social workers pursuing their LCSW. Topics covered in the training include Virginia Board of Social Work regulations, the supervisory relationship, the impact of harmful supervision, social determinants of health, intersectionality, and more! Seven (7) CEs will be granted to participants following course completion (please check with state licensing boards if completing the course outside of Virginia). Presented by Longwood University.
20 Skills to Work with Emotion in Psychotherapy with Dr. Leslie Greenberg - July 11-12, 2024
Working with emotion is an essential component of psychotherapy, and therapists can encounter challenging emotional processes during treatment. In this workshop, you will learn 20 evidence-based skills to help you assess specific emotional issues and apply targeted interventions to address them. These skills draw on decades of research on emotions from multiple perspectives, including evolutionary biology and neuroscience, and can be integrated into any psychotherapeutic approaches and used with any client population. Presented by The Centre for Psychology and Emotional Health and the Greenberg Institute of Emotion Focused Therapy.

CIIS' Sex Therapy Certificate Fall 2024 - September to December 2024
This is an online five weekend professional certificate program. The California Institute of Integral Studies (CIIS) Sex Therapy Certificate (STC) strives to provide an integral view of the fields of sex therapy and sex education, including multiple perspectives and philosophies, rooted in a sex positive view and affirmation of the diversity of sexual practices, experiences, and identities of our communities and clients. This program meets the requirements for the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and is approved for 165 CEs (75 Online Synchronous & 90 Online Asynchronous). Presented by the California Institute of Integral Studies.
